We recommend wearing light stud style earrings for the first few months after your piercing heals. Wearing heavy stud earrings or big dangling earrings can stretch out or do damage to your new piercing holes.

Light, Small Hoops
We’re seeing lots of huge hoop earrings these days, but you will want to hold off on those for at least 6 months after your healing period. Thankfully, small hoops are always in style and recommended for newly-pierced ears.
Hoops are fun to wear and can alter a look from classic to slightly more edgy. We love small hoops because they bring attention to your ears in a variety of ways – whether you decide to wear simple silver or gold hoops or dress them up with diamonds or a colored gem stone.
For the first 6 months after your piercing has healed, be sure to choose only small light hoop styles and be extra careful not to catch them while brushing your hair or changing clothes.
