Inverness Ear Care Solution is specially-formulated to keep your new piercing clean and comfortable during the aftercare healing period. Our ear care solution contains only purified water and Benzalkonium Chloride, an antiseptic that cleans and soothes a new piercing.
When you Google ‘ear piercing solution’, you may find some DIY options using Isopropyl Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, or Saline Solution. If you choose one of these alternatives, keep in mind:
- Isopropyl Alcohol stings and can chap or irritate the skin.
- Hydrogen Peroxide can discolor piercing earrings and clothing.
- Saline solution is a gentle cleaner, but doesn’t provide the added protection of an antiseptic solution.
